The Altar Guild of St. Andrew’s is a team comprised of both women and men. The members work behind the scenes preparing the Sanctuary for the Eucharist and other sacraments or offices the Church.

The liturgy begins and ends with the work of the Altar Guild.  They care for the sacred vessels, bread and wine, fair linens, altar hangings, candles and torches used for worship.  Serving on the Altar Guild is far more than a task; it is a true ministry.  The contribution of each Altar Guild member is a devotion to the greater glory of God.  Those interested in serving on the Altar Guild are invited to speak with Altar Guild Directress, Dr. Karen Gold
